About US

Our Mission

We aim to breathe new life into a treasured landmark by transforming The Tremont Hotel into a vibrant, mixed-use space that serves as a cornerstone of our downtown’s revitalization. Through thoughtful restoration and innovative redevelopment, we strive to blend historic preservation with modern functionality, creating commercial space for local businesses and quality housing options. We want to create a welcoming space that honors the past and inspires a bright future for all.

Our Values

Community

We know that our greatest strength comes from the people around us — our neighbors and the generations who’ve called Columbus home. We believe in showing up, supporting one another, and creating spaces where people feel connected and valued. This isn’t just about preserving the past — it’s about investing in the future. By breathing new life into a space that has long been part of our town’s story, we hope to create a shared place where memories are made, ideas are born, and community continues to thrive.

Historic Preservation

At the heart of our project is a deep commitment to historical preservation and its role in shaping a vibrant future. We believe that progress and preservation are not mutually exclusive. Historic buildings are not obstacles to be demolished—they are irreplaceable assets that tell the story of our community. By restoring and repurposing this landmark, we aim to preserve the craftsmanship and character of the past while adapting it for modern use. In doing so, we honor the unique character that defines our downtown and ensure it continues to inspire for generations to come.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility

We recognize that this work is about more than just bricks and mortar—it’s about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and valued. Both owners have careers rooted in unconditional service, and thus, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) are at the foundation of our vision. We strive to reflect the richness of our community while meeting the needs of all who live, work, and visit here. We are committed to ensuring that the design and function of our building are inclusive and accessible to people of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences. By embedding DEIA into our work—from architectural design to community engagement—we’re not just restoring a building; we’re helping build a more inclusive, connected, and welcoming future for everyone.
